Can I use a higher than 3 amp fuse for a Champion pressure washer?

My pressure washer will not work with a 3 amp fuse in the plug. But will work if I use a 15amp fuse. Will this cause any problems, I have been told it may damage the electric supply in the house.

NO NEVER USE A FUSE OF A HIGHER RATE THAN STATED IN THE MANUAL FOR ANYTHING you can get yourself electrocuted if fuse doesn't blow. Check with manufacturers what size the fuse should be or a shop that sells the washer.
If IT IS a 3amp then it's obviously got a motor fault, get it checked, life is priceless.
