Push in bulb to refill carb but will not return?

When I push in the bulb to prime the carb the bulb will not return out

disconnect the gas line going to the carb,if the
push bulb returns,clean the carb.

Could be blockage in pipe, or the bulb has had it. Check filter and pipes etc make sure all clear. if still like it, new bulb
