If bolted on memorials don’t stop them no glue, no bolts, and no anti climb paint will.
www.ultrasecuredirect.com have a selection of dummy and real cameras, find out from neighbours who have had lead stolen the replacement cost then price the camera’s my guess is even a good quality £50 one would come out cheaper than lead replacement, and it may even get stolen again.

Lead flashing from Wickes from £61.29 to £164.39 depending on width most are 3 mt long and depending on bay size you may need two. So is that £60 camera too expensive?. Or go for the cheaper model dummy if your building insurance would cover the theft less the excess. but remember it puts up premiums.
However the theft may be covered on your house policy but check as it may come under a section that doesn’t cover you. But remember most have a £50 excess on claims so to save the hassle and damage if it rains a camera is worth it. In addition you could add a notice stating ‘Due to recent lead thefts in and around this area the lead on this property has be security marked’. They won’t want to get caught for a few £’s worth of lead.
So I would charge from £300 £1,300+VAT minimum 4lb lead to replace lead flashing depending on size and construction of how the lead is fitted (Guaranteed). Some bays require rendering to be cut away.
