why do my radiators get hot on water only?

would a faulty motorised valve cause my radiators to get hot on water only and cause my baxi bermuda back boiler to start clicking

try moving motorised valve on side of motor,slide it across,wont do any harm,might move debris,around ball inside valve might work,also radiators nearest to cylider only should get hot as closest to coil.
