can you hear slight whining noise from behind the filter at the bottom front of the machine? If you cant, then the pump is probably blocked. I have had this with mine. It helps if you can tilt the machine backwards to about 30 degrees. Then gently unscrew filter being ready to catch overflow of water. Remove the filter and check for any pennies, wires etc. You should be able to feel the pump blades inside and be able to turn them freely. Hope this helps. By the way, unplug beforehand!! Its worth a try and been the problem with my machine many times.
