Joints coming loose on Toshiba?

The joints that hold the screen to the bottom of my computer are coming loose. When I close it and open it, it separates the top covering (on the bottom, where the keyboard is) from the bottom part. This sometimes ends up covering the power cord hook up so I'll have to adjust the sides to plug it in. I have a Toshiba Satellite C655D. Any help would be appreciated!

Probably caused by a build up of dust dirt etc, Could try some IPA (Isopropylalcohol) available from chemists, a few drops at a time, into the hinges. WHEN unit is unplugged battery out, and hinges are down over. Gently opening closing top while dropping them in, An old eye dropper, an old syringe, anything like that, That should flush any bits out, without taking the unit apart to clean, which is the other option.
