Try this...

1) Switch TV off at main on/off switch.
2) Press and hold the 'Volume Down' button on TV.
3) While held down, switch TV back on at main on/off switch

Joan - sorry I can't help - just found your query as I was looking for the same solution!!! I've got the exact same model and my son has done the exact same thing!
