Frister & Rossman cub 3?

My daughter borrowed my sewing machine and left it in cupboard where I think it got a bit damp as small rusty patches on plate. Now I have taken it apart and WD40 all parts but still seized up. When you try and turn handle it only moves a fraction then stops. Have checked there is no thread caught inside so don't know what else to do.

you did not say how far did you strip machine.a big problem on some machines are that even when lubricated exesively there are still places that stay dry.best is to try and find area where problem is by stripping and move handwheel while observing parts not moving, could be on needle bar control as this area is very prone to dry areas.only thing you can do is spray some more lubricant and try to move often and let stand to give lubricant time to penetrate if you cant strip needle bar control area.most times it is on the cam controls where it stay dry
