Water runs onto floor from top load Fisher-Paykel washing machine?

WE have a Model WA37TG1 Fisher & Paykel Top Load EcoSmart washer that has the following water problem. When the machine goes into the spin cycles, water is dripping out from the top lid at the front and right front sides of the machine, there is also evidence that the water is also running down from inside the cabinet to the floor. According to the parts list from Fisher-Paykel, there is no top lid gasket for this machine. Could the diverter valve cause this problem? Clogged, etc?

The divertor valve changes the drain pump flow from the recirculating hose over to the drain hose, Before it spins it will drain the water. If the water is coming out of the drain hose then the valve must be working ok. I am not familiar with this model except to say that water should not be anywhere near the lid at any time. You need to find out where the water comes from & how it gets there. I suggest you remove the lid and find the lid switch location (usually on the right hand edge where lid closes on most other models) It will be activated by a magnet. So hold a magnet near the switch so machine can run. You can then see what is happening.
