Air compressor not engaging when air con switched on. where is the relay/fuse located and what colour relay/fuse am i looking for ? as this is first thing to check before removing/ replacing pump

wold check condensor,the ac rad which is in front of coolant radiator,drop off the plastic cover under front of car below radiater,usualy the condensr falls apart from corosion have good look along the bottom for oil or green diy,the compressor wont run if thair is not enogh refridjarent or a pressure switch is falty ,sorry should have posted that earlyer,

hi its a two litr injection ghia x on v plate. will try and check wires on back of compressor . there is a soft click when engaged as if switch somewhere behind dash makes connection but no movement on pump

Dont know about relays or fuses as no vehicle details given ,i would disconect plug at compressor use a test light and see if lights up when ac turned on,thair are a fiew things that will stop ac and most comon is a leak in system,check pipes not fractured look for green damp aria or some times just disapeers & just needs re gassing,
