Is there a way to rmeove a very obstinate black stain from the lower inner rim of my Zanuzzi door seal gaiter ?

i find a product called astonish the best all round cleaner for appliances but the cause of the prob needs rectifying, usually caused by syphoning because the waste hose is at an incorrect height, end of hose has to be above water level in the drum
