My Hotpoint DWF31 won't stop washing. Usually at 15 mins left it stops washing and starts drying. Now it continues washing all the way to 1 minute then stays at 1 minute forever while it continues washing.

I believe it is down to my menace of a daughter pushing buttons when it was running (the last time it worked properly).

Does anyone have a fix for this?

Is it as simple as switching off at the mains, waiting 5 mins and turning on again?
