does a battery go into semi accousticguitar?

i have a tanglewood semi accoustic guitar and was wondering if a battery fits in somewhere?

If the guitar looses power, or sounds spotty, you probably have a dying battery. If so it should be inside the panel where your tone and/or volume adjusters are.

Probably not. Depends if the pickups are active or passive. Most electric guitars have passive pickups and do not require a battery. Most Electro/acoustics have active pickups and do need a battery. Check your guitar all over for a plate or a cover that might hide a battery compartment. It'll be a 9v pp3 battery if at all.
