how to replace a clutch cable on my Mountfield Emperor 21?

My veteran but brilliant Mountfield Emperor 21 MP83312 needs a new clutch cable and I can see where to buy it on line but I cant see where under the deck to attach it and/or how to access any such invisible junction point for easy fitment. Help ?
