it doesnt have a permanent pilot. Under the boiler is a reset button that may have popped out, look directly under the case and there should be a finger sized hole that you can push into to touch the button. If it clicks as you push it up then boiler should work again, if it continues to pop out then you may have a problem with overheating (pump,lack of water in system maybe) if the boiler still doesnt come on possible board or fan
