ive just bought it second hand....about four years old... its a classixx slimline...... it just fills with about 1cm of water at the bottom on any cycle and does nothing else....occasionally hims a bit..... the water doesnt seem to be being heated either..... if interupted and reset it pumps out ok.... what should i do...?

Its quite possible James that if the dishwasher was sat idle for some time the shaft seal in the motor has stuck so the wash motor cannot start up. Try unplugging machine and removing side panel to access motor and give motor a turn or two to release it. If not this, could be faulty capacitor on the motor. Cheers
