My Drayton RF1 wireless room stat is no longer turning the heating on & off. I have replaced the batteries (although I don't think they needed replacing) and have recommissioned the SCR. The SCR red light did not flash to say that it was receiving a signal. Both red and green lights are on. I can control the heating by the programmer, but that is far from ideal.

Any ideas as to what might be wrong?

look on ebay, I sell the capacitor which will fix this issue, if you search for "draton scr repair", you will find me, I am the ebay seller 'bearsy72' , for just a few quid i can send you the part you need and full installation instructions / pictures, should only take 15mins to change.

you will need a soldering iron to complete the fix, if you dont have one then send the scr to me and i can change it for you

If I do that, do I also need to replace the SCR (the receiver)? Will the new roomstat pair with the old SCR?
