Roca Toilet Cystem?

My husband finally removed the lid on our toilet. The toilet was working quite well, but it was flushing on it's own. It is now not flushing at all his tried several times the water is running straight into the toilet the plunjer is not going back where it should.The push buttons on the top are not working. Has anyone else had this problem help
