How can I fix my car radio/cd player?

I have just bought a 1999 Peugeot 206. The radio or cd player does not work all it says on the display is 'end' !!! Not sure what to do, if anyone can help htat would be great

my peugeot 206 has an alana seat radio/cd player but most of cd's keep saying no disc, also the remote won't work could this be because it's not the original cd player would appreciate your help thankyou
