Display fault?

I have a Samsung LE52 LCD TV 3 years old, about a month ago I noticed a thick black vertical line at the edge of the screen. After about 10 mins it would disappear. I now I have a thin black vertical line in the centre of the screen together the original line. The lines are now tacking up to 30 mins to disappear. I have contacted Samsung who were not helpful and said it was not a know fault. They could only suggest I contacted one of their service centres. I did this and it appears that the connections to the screen are no longer soldered, they are bonded. This bonding after time can begin to fail. The lines disappearing is do due to heat from the TV making a good contact. The only answer is a new display screen. I have no idea how much this will cost. Has anyone else had a similar problem?
