I bought a Kenmore Elite microwave oven a short while back. The model # is 363.63699. Yesterday, the light inside the microwave went out. I cannot see how this light bulb can be changed by the end user. I'm not talking about the oven hood light underneath, I'm talking about the interior light that comes on when the door is opened. Please help. Thank you very much.

I have the same problem on the same or similar microwave - it looks like after doing some searching online and after removing the outer vent cover toward the top that this is not an easy task. I read that if you attempt this to be VERY CAREFUL - the unit or part (sorry I don't know the technical name - I'm not a professional) that carries quite an electrical charge is exposed - I recognized this copper wire wrapped part upon the removal of the vent - I couldn't see the bulb and that's when I backed down and put the vent back on...help!
