i have changed the batteries as one of them was very low so i presumed that was the problem. it still just keeps on beeping, telling me the date (the wrong one however many times i re set it) and the time. please help me its been doing this constantly for over 24 hours now..

I've got the exact same problem.I rang the help line and they said it is a problem with the base. I replied so bin it then and the helpline assistant agreed.Yet another poor response and service standard from our once wonderful Telephone Company.
The answer is don't buy products with the BT logo on it because it is about as good as an ashtray on a motorbike!
