the picture is clear...but it is in a narrow strip down the centre of the screen, with black either side. Have tried all the basics, eg check settings, press widescreen on control, switch everything off and on again, leads etc.
any help gratefully received. Sound and colour fine, no problems before.

your set uses the ak19 chassis.terry is right about a repair man. a dry joint on a cap in the line output burns out a 27 ohm resistor.easy to those in the know.expect to pay around forty quid. its takes longer to get the back off than it does to fix.regards steve.

Needs to go to a repair man I'm afraid. As its an Ondigital it must be getting a bit long in the tooth now and you may be better off getting a new Freeiew TV.
