I suspect water heater is not working. would this show up as an error code? How do I make necessary repairs ?

sometimes shows as error.multimeter across terminals should give around 29ohms.you also need to check resistance to earth pin as this will also cause issue.element held in with one 10mm nut and pull or pries out
