I have inherited a delongi cooler, very large. but it's noisy?

Hi, i have a delongi air conditioner/cooler Pac, and when i switch it on it runs ok for about 5 minutes and then the noise level shoots up to such a level i need to switch it off.

the noise may be coming from a fan motor that is seizeing up as it gets hot, it needs to opened up to pinpoint exactly where the noise is coming from
