Goes thro cycle,Until 'Rinse'. I can hear pump pulsing on/off,until Top line of Indicator lights revert to full original display, and everything stops. Fitted new pump/motor. Much better,but pump operation still interrupts?? is this normal? Also, get a thump when system goes to start 'Spin'

After posting this question,I discovered "F&P Service Manual 517735" Which indicates that I am suffering from Fault#62, Phase5 Pump Fault, but having put in New Pump. It now implies a dodgy Motor Controller??
Running the M/C with a medium /heavy load gave the same initial problem of not going into the Rinse 1 stage and displaying the Fault 62 LEDs with Beeps ,until after several redisplays,a 'ShutDown'.
I removed wet load from m/c and set up a short cycle, which completed itself!!! So, maybe the problem is also load dependent.
Pump suction chamber and discharge pipe appear clear Will investigate further,but any suggestion gratefully received. Have yet to price new controller. Maybe New m/c required??

It is normal for the drain pump to stop for about a second every minute or so while draining on this model. It is also normal to hear that thump before spinning. That is the controller making sure that the bowl has engaged with the drive shaft spline. What is not normal though is for the top row of lights to revert to full display. Can you explain a bit more about this and is the machine beeping when it does it?
