You can't turn your laptop when the charger is connected? Can you power up on the batteries?
Is the charger properly connected to an electric outlet?
Is there power to that outlet? Check the fuse or breaker.
If you use a power strip, make sure that it's properly plugged in the wall and it's switch in the ON position. Some peoples connected a power strip into itself and wondered why it did'nt work...
You may have 120V and a power supply rated for 240V. It may have a switch to change it's voltage setting if it's not auto sensing and adjusting. Flip it IF it's in the wrong position.
Check the connector on the computer itself. Any foreing material inside the connector? Get it out.
The power switch may be broken. It can be replaced. You'll need to do some electrical welding for that.
You tried another power supply. Are you sure that it have the correct polarity, voltage and wattage ratings?
The wrong polarity can blow a fuse in the computer, and, at worst, it can uterly destroy it.
