how do i get my key fob to work ?

ive changed the battery in my key fob for my ford puma x reg. ive done the rapid key turning thing and the fog light has come on the console but then i press the button on fob as suggested and still no joy????? please help

hi some cars if you put your key in the ignition and leave the door open then press your door close and open whilst you have the door open it will lock and unlock the car or do the same with ignition on aswell try it see if that sorts it out
