HELP!! - Pump filter won't come out - Beko WM5100W?

Hi,

Been having probs with the machine not draining so have been trying to remove the pump filter - it turns both ways easily but won't come out. Is there a knack to this?

Alternatively how can we get the whole pump out - adjacent screws don't seem to provide access, ie. they're in the front panel with appears fixed? Would we still be able to clean out any rubbish from 'behind' if the filter is still stuck in?

All advice gratefully accepted!! (Fed up and no clean clothes!)

Thanks...Helen

The knack is to clean it at least once a month.Undo it and push filter back and forth and hopefully it will get looser and looser until you are able to remove it.I have ended up breaking the cap to gain access and the whole thing costs around £10.to remove the whole thing remove the plastic plinth, remove 3 screw and then quarter twist and push whole unit inside machine casing.now go underneath front and disconnect hoses/electric until it can be totally removed from the machine
