Needle won't pull bobbin thread up thru hole?

I drop the bobbin in the case and pull the thread under the spring but the needle thread can't seem to grab the bobbin loop and pull up???? No trouble shooting info in the manual

I have the same problem with a frisster & rossman 2018. how do you re-time as you suggested ?

Try new needle and make sure it is in the correct way round failing that you may need to retime the machine but you have not said what model you have
