I just tried to lock the front door, its one of them pvc ones where you have to pull up the handle to turn the key but somehow the part where the key goes is upside down and the key will not go in. Anyone any idea how to fix this without having to call a locksmith?

hi natalie it sounds like the barrel is broken you can take it out unscrew the handle and there are some screws that hold it in if you get it out you might be able to see wots wrong with it if you need a new one take your old one to a diy shop and you should be able to buy a new one there all differant prices
