Hi,
Do not know your player but you can try this as a way of getting a disc out of the player.
If you player has a front flap then open this gently using something thin between the flap and the front panel, the flap is usually on a light spring and should offer no resistance, a gob of blue-tack sometimes works. Once open you will see the tray, on most players a slot or small hole is found near the lower edge. Gently insert a straightened paperclip or hairpin in the slot or hole. Gently push. This should start to move the tray out so you can rescue the disc. Before loading another disc, insert a DVD/CD cleaning disc as the fault may be a dirty lens. Do a SO_SO, switch of and switch on. The tray should go in as soon as power is restored and it will then spool the disc and hopfully clean the lens. This fixes a lot of problems especaly if the DVD/CD is in a smoker home.
Another option, check machine or the instruction manual for a reset button.
I hope this is of help, be gentle.
