does a frigidare refrigerator have a fuse?

I have a short in the middle of the power cord going to my frigidare refrig. model #GLHS66EESB. It "popped" very loud and blew the circuit breaker. I repaired the cord, but still no power. Is there an internal fuse in the unit?

no internal fuse but u need to know y u had a short in power cable as could be more of a problem
