How can I fix my horn on my Ford KA?

My horn has stopped working. What's the most likely cause of the problem, and if I have to remove it how do I do that. I've had it up on ramps and it looks as thopugh there isn't any wires going to the horn, and it looks like a bit of a pig to remove .

Any helpful advice welcomed

i jacked mine up and found the horn easily, thank god, i could only find one wire on the horn i took the wire off, and got a new onw with two terminals i hooked the wire to one terminal and still no joy, swaped terminal and still no luck, did i need to earth the other terminal to make it work, or would that not matter.

sometimes if you give the horn a sharp tap with a spanner this can make it work again. but you must keep in mind it will need replacing at sometime...

The horn on our Ka went the same way, they can fill with water! There is no fuse. There should be 2 wires attached to the horn, they are tucked away though. Remove old horn, one bolt but tricky to get at. It can be done with the car on the ground, access under front bumper with two spanners. Make sure contacts are clean and check circuit with a made up test lamp. Test horn with fly leads from battery. If dead, replace. I bought one from an accessory shop for under a tenner. I had to make an earth lead with crimp terminals and wire to earth horn terminal to mounting bracket. When re-fitting point horn downwards as much as possible to stop water ingress. Hope this helps.
