i have a beko wm5120s washing machine,washer starts off by filling with water then it surpose to start the wash cycle but goes straight in to spin mode then after a few seconds it stops.ive checked the carbon brushes which are fine,the belt looks fine an so does the pump,washer fills with water then once it has stopped i have to start the washer again on drain and it does that fine

sounds like tacho trouble, check the coil on the end of the motor for continuity with a meter(2 light leads), if ok magnet must be loose or broken on end of motor shaft
