Hoover SE220 001 Heating Element And Machine Disaaembly?

Hi,

Could someone tell me how I replace the heating element on this washing machine? I mainly need to know how to get at it, so I need the instructions on how to take the covers off the machine. I have seen some videos on the subject, but none of the videos are relevant to this hoover machine so I need specific instructions for this model.

Many Thanks
Joe

Luckily it was quite easy to get out. Thanks for the information, it was spot on. I owe you a pint.

from memory your machine has the element fitted through the drum from the back so rear panel removed then remove the 10 mm nut in the element and prise the element out as far as it will come you then need to get the rubber seal removed and this can really be difficult at times, a screwdriver should prise it out use a little wash up liquid to make the seal slippy if difficult, the new one should fit in easy but make sure it is located in the bracket inside the drum
