how can I fix my Hotpoint dishwasher, 7800 slimline?

My dishwasher does not pump out the water. I can only empty it by draining the water into a bucket.

dishwashers have two pumps, one for washing and one for empting. sounds like your drain pump has packed in.
ive just had my drain pump changed and it cost £34 call out and £35 for the pump.
