How can I find the fault on my optimax HE31C boiler?

We have an HE 31C Ferroli optimax boiler which started making some funny noises during the night and now has a blank screen. We have changed the fuse to no avail but obviously cannot see any fault cause as the screen is blank. Can anyone help?
