Pioneer sterio double cassette deck amplifier Modle DC-Z92 is inperfict condition but the cassette players (x2) do not want to play.
The belts was replaced and if PLAY butten is pressed, the motor do run for a short wile but stop within a second and the cassette tape do not turn at all.
The cassette player do have a function to reverce the play direction without removing the tape, but both players in both directions do notwant to Play.
The unit wa bought new during the early 1992

check if thre is a powered mechanism -observe the unit with no cassette, press play (you may have to fool the sensors, they are where the top edge of the cassette meets the chassis) and see if the heads and pinch rollers move up. post results.
