how can I drain my ariston AL1256T washing machine?

I want to buy a new washing machine but the deliverers cannot take away my old one until it is drained.

I have a pretty old Ariston Super Care AL1256T washing machine. It has worked well for a good few years. This year there were several expensive call outs and I m now advised to buy a new washing machine.

My problem is, the drum has been filled with towels and water for about six weeks now. I cannot find anyone who will come and drain it.

I understand there is supposed to be a pump supplied with this machine but I was never given one when I bought it.

The woodwork close to the machine has been soaked several times and the cupboard smell a bit mouldy because of this. So I am reluctant to try to drain it myself in case it floods into the wood again.

I cant buy a new macnine until the machine is empty.

Does anyone have any ideas please.

Many thanks

Jane

Hello,

That sounds like it will work, once the the machine is out from under the worktop. Will let you know how it goes.

Thank you very much.
