my kitchen tap is leaking ?

my kitchen tap is leaking from under the draining board,ive tried fastening the bolts up to no joy.how can i stop it from leaking anymore til i get a new one tomorrow without having to turn the water off completley.

You should have replace new washer to stop leak,if you fixing with new one put ball fix valve for future to turn water off
