vaillant ecoTEC plus 428 displaying fault 98?

Hi - We cannot get the central heating to work however the hot water and underfloor heating in the kitchen is ok. We have checked the pressure in the boiler, bled the radiators and also replaced the batteries in the thermostat. Not sure what to do?
