GBC 4250 with Heat at all?

Hi there, I have a GBC4250 Laminator that I purchased used and it has no heat at all, I did replace thermal sensor board, I did replace the main board also and still no heat, the only difference is that now the machine goes to ready right away but still no heat.

Any suggestions, i have no more ideas anymore and I really could use this laminator.

Hi I fix roll laminators for a living in the pittsburgh PA area. if you happen to be anywhere around here I give no cost no obligation estimates...... and free telephone tech help.

so you started with no heat? then moved on to ready light coming on immediately? did you check the following? the thermal fuse thats next to the temp sensor board? the 1.25 amp fuse directly under the main board? its around 1 amp and 1.5 amp.. normally the thermal fuse takes out all the 4250s power but i once found a unit that someone may have rewired. they put the thermal fuse in the power ine to the heater...

bad main boards can occasionally do this...

I will give this some thought but i would reinstall the original temp sensor board and be certain its connector is on good..

feel free to call me if you want

were the parts you used absolutely known good?
