Went in the bathroom this morning and put the light on as usual. Pulled the light switch cord and the light won't turn off. What do I do now? Would it be better to get a new one or can it be fixed easily.
read this guys question his light is locked on,as i said before the light switch is s/c,it needs replaced,not the bulb,you really need to swat up on your electrical skills friend,before you kill some one

The light bulb may be burnt. Change the bulb using a similar one of the same power rating.

replace the light switch,they are cheap ,turn power off at consumer unit befoire replacing the switch
