How can I fix my Fiat Ducato 2001 van?

The pedal sometimes goes hard when applying the brakes. Have had all parts changed apart from the brake box. Wondered if anyone else has come across this problem?

Thanks very much for your advice am getting the servo pipes checked out tomorrow, have an idea that will fix it. Once again thank you!

sounds like a servo fault, may have a leak in vacuum hose, blockage in hose, collapsed hose, one way valve faulty.or servo itself faulty.and if its a diesel may be vac pump faulty.with engine running, have a listen for air leaks under bonnet while someone presses brake pedal.with engine off, press brake a few times then keeping it pressed start engine the pedal should travel further down,if not then servo isn't working [may be due to faults mentioned]. by the way you arn't free-wheeling with engine off as there will not be servo assistance if you are!
