I have a rca tv model number 27V512T. recently the tv started to act up. it came on one day and started to act up like it was losing signal then it cut off, i turn the tv back on and it did again. so i had the tv off for a while but when i turn it on it did it once again, then later once it look as if the cable was losing signal the screen turn somewhat blueish greeinsh.. i need help to fix it i have no money for a new one.

First, try a reset. Unplug the power cord for a few hours and try again.
Second, try the jiggle and wiggle test; just shake the set around or bang it with your fist to see if the cause is from a loose connection. Wiggling and jiggling the set can often wake up a bad internal connection or cold solder joint.

Finally, if you cannot fix it I suggest you try the local thrift shop. I see good working used tvs all the time for under $20. On senior day or special sale days they are sometimes as low as $5 or this size.

Unfortunately, if the repair is serious it will cost more than replacing it with a used one. A new LCD flat panel set will be much, much more to replace; more like $250 and up.
