Zanussi FJS1225W not heating the water?

My Zanussi Jet System XC FJS1225W does not seem to be heating the water during the wash cycle, the clothes come out feeling stone cold. I have felt the glass on the door during the cycle and it never feels even slightly warm

feeling glass isn't best way to tell heat unless on boil wash 95deg program.put hand in water that is drained at end of wash cycle to test for heat.Clothes should come out cold as they are rinsed in cold water after the main wash cycle.Could be a faulty element
