How do you know it has no power? If you just mean it won't start that doesn't mean there is no power. It probably means the lid switch is not working. Lift the lid about 25mm and you should hear a click and again when you lower the lid slowly you should hear the switch click just before the lid is fully closed. If you can't hear anything then either the switch is broken or needs adjusting.
