leaking water inlet pipe?

the flexible bendy inlet hose (like a very fine metalic close weave msh)that fills the cistern is leaking where it fits onto the bottom side of the cistern. tried tightening it but still leaking by the nut. would appreciate help!

You could unscrew the nut and put a few turns of PTFE tape around the thread at the leaking joint. Or you could just replace the braided hose.
