my toshiba tv colour is not good with dvd player?

toshiba tv 28w8dba the colour when playing my dvds is not good at all it is not the dvd player as we have tried different players different scart leads and different ext ports

PS. On some Toshiba TV's the input socket can be switched between Video/SVHS via the TV's on screen set-up menu's.

Check that the settings in the DVD's menu for the connection matches that of the input you are using on the TV.

ie. If the DVD output is set as S-VHS ensure you are using a scart input set for S-VHS on the TV etc.

Options are usually Video, S-Video (SVHS) or RGB.
Mismatch will result in poor colour/picture quality.

your tv may notbe able to play dvd in try playing it trough a vcr then to tv scart to scart
